  • Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering (1994) Alfateh University, Tripoli, Libya
  • Master degree in Environmental Engineering and Management (2000) UTS, Sydney, Australia
  • PhD in Chemical Engineering (2007), University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia
EMPLOYMENT
  • Postdoctoral (2007-present) UNESCO Centre for Membrane Science and Technology, The University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia
  • Research Assistant and Lab instructor (1995-1998) Alfateh University, Tripoli, Libya

Research Interests:
MOLECULAR MODELLING
  • Molecular modelling simulations refer to the theoretical and computational methods used to simulate the behaviour of atoms and molecules. This method is used in several disciplines including; pharmaceuticals, Material sciences, and biology.
EXERGY ANALYSIS
  • Exergy analysis is based on the second law of thermodynamic equations. It is an effective tool that allows identifying the sites of inefficiencies in the chemical process, and from which one can examine the possibilities of improving the energetic efficiency of the process.
